I’m your host, Kaye B. Last week we talked about effective leadership. Make no mistake, effective leadership doesn’t happen overnight, it’s a skill that is grown. It can be learned and developed so that it becomes a progression asset to the individual and it also benefits the project and it’s stakeholders. Leadership needs continuous improvement. Here are some various skills and techniques that help project team member deepen their leadership intelligence.
· Articulating a motivating vision for the project outcomes
· Seeking resources and support for the project
· Overcoming obstacles to project progress
· Negotiating and resolving conflict within the project team and stakeholders
· Coaching and mentoring fellow project team members
· Providing opportunities for kill growth and development
